KISH MOODY

Arkansas-born and Nashville-recording artist Kish Moody has spent a lifetime turning country, blues, rock and Southern soul into his own unmistakable sound. What started with a guitar in his hands at age 11 grew into a career built on songwriting, recording and thousands of miles on the road.

A Century II Records recording artist, Kish has worked with respected Nashville talent including country legend Bobby G. Rice and songwriter Rickey Treat, while sharing stages with artists ranging from The Kentucky Headhunters and Black Stone Cherry to David Allan Coe, Days of the New and Nonpoint.

Today, the music speaks for itself. Kish’s Echoes From The Open Road earned 2026 Arkansas Country Music Awards nominations for Country Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, following earlier Arkansas Country Music Awards recognition for his work as an artist, producer and collaborator.

From Arkansas backroads to Nashville studios and stages across the South, Kish Moody continues to write, record and perform music with one simple objective: make it real, make it memorable, and keep the road moving.

FROM ARKANSAS TO THE ROAD

Kish Moody’s story starts in Blytheville, Arkansas, where the road to music began at just 11 years old with a guitar and lessons in Gravel Ridge. By 14, he was already performing across Arkansas—and before long, that local beginning had turned into a life on stages throughout the South.

Raised with the encouragement of his family, Kish developed a sound rooted in the music that shaped the American South: country, blues, Southern rock and the raw energy of live guitar music. That foundation eventually led to opportunities to share the stage with artists including The Kentucky Headhunters, Black Stone Cherry, David Allan Coe, Days of the New and Nonpoint.

But the story didn’t stop with opening slots or Nashville recording sessions. Kish kept moving—writing, recording and performing, building a catalog that reflects the places, people and experiences encountered along the way.

Today, that same kid who picked up a guitar at 11 is still chasing the next song and the next stage. From honky-tonks and juke joints to major venues and festival stages, Kish Moody has never been interested in fitting neatly into one box. The music is country at its roots, blues in its soul, Southern rock in its attitude—and always built for the road.
