Kish Moody is in the Nashville metro this week for a focused two-day studio session at SMS Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee, tracking his upcoming country single, “Southern Girl Strut.”
The February 26–27 recording session brings together an accomplished group of musicians and collaborators, including Bobby G. Rice and Brian Arrowood, along with Jordan Larson, John Heinrich, and Mike Shrimpf. The track was co-written with Rocky Hyatt and represents a high-energy addition to Moody’s growing catalog of modern country releases.
“Southern Girl Strut” blends driving rhythm, confident attitude, and strong melodic structure — built for both live performance impact and commercial radio appeal. With seasoned musicians contributing to the arrangement and tracking, the production emphasizes tight instrumentation, layered textures, and a polished Nashville sound.
Behind-the-scenes studio images from both days document the creative process, from instrumental tracking to vocal takes, capturing the momentum as the song moves from composition to finished production.
Additional updates, release announcements, and streaming details will follow as “Southern Girl Strut” progresses toward distribution.
